At Harfields Pet Retreat, we prioritise our guests' comfort and enjoyment. To ensure a pleasant experience for all, please plan your arrival and departure times according to the time frames above - this lets us focus on providing quality care through plenty of playtime & exercise! Just like when you stay at a hotel, these check-in/check-out routines give us ample time for cleaning empty suites in preparation for our next visitors.

If circumstances change please contact us as soon as possible.

Bookings & Cancellations

Our boarding rates are charged per night. For all bookings, we require a 50% payment upfront and you can settle any remaining balance upon arrival. We accept both card and cash payments.

Please make sure to let us know if you need to amend or cancel at least 28 days before check-in for full refunds. If you cancel within 28 days of the check-in date, unfortunately no refund for your deposit will be provided.

Feeding

To ensure our guests are settled and comfortable, we ask owners to bring familiar food for overnight stays. Unexpected changes in diet can cause discomfort or illness - the last thing anyone wants when staying away from home!

Height Requirements

At Harfields Pet Retreat we provide a fun, safe environment exclusively for small to medium-sized canine friends. We kindly ask that pet owners measure their dogs height to the withers prior to booking; our policy maximum is 50cm (20 inches).

Health

Please ensure your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations and upload proof to the booking portal. Please also show the vaccination certificate upon arrival. Written proof from a veterinarian of titre testing showing sufficient antibodies can also be accepted. Titre tests must be completed annually and will only be accepted alongside a up-to-date Leptospirosis vaccination.

To ensure the wellbeing of all our four-legged guests, we recommend a Kennel Cough Vaccine administered at least two weeks prior to boarding. This live virus vaccine has been proven to protect other dogs from possible risk for up to 14 days post-administration.

Keep your dog healthy and free of parasites by ensuring their flea/worming treatments are up-to-date. If we discover any fleas during your dog's stay, treatment will be administered at an additional charge.

The health and wellness of your dog is important to us. Should they require veterinary care, we will do our best to contact your usual vet, if local. If not, we'll use our own registered vet so that your beloved furry friend can be back on their paws quickly.

If your dog requires regular medication, we can administer this free of charge.

We cannot accept pregnant dogs at Harfields, however we are happy to board dog's in season at the owner's risk.
